A bass Guitarist
I would venture to guess that a person who plays the Bass Guitar is called a "bassist". Calling a person who plays a bass guitar a "guitarist" would also be acceptable.
Bass player

Call them anything you like, they won't answer back!
A bass-guitar and an electric bass guitar is the same thing, unless you want to get technical and call it an acoustic bass guitar and an electric, whereas your answer would be electric (for a rock/alt./punk/metal band) ---------------------------------------------------------------------

Double Bass. its just a bass but the call it a double* so it is not mixed up with the bass guitar.
Keith is playing a Harmony H44 Stratotone Electric guitar in Bronze finish... im pretty sure the guitar that he was seen playing at the CMA Music Festival was a re-issue... but nonetheless its a H44
