The animal is born to survive and has learned from birth to evade danger. They possess senses beyond human ability. Agility found in hoofed animals to jump and change direction fast. They possess hearing and smelling senses gifted for survival.
You must become the animals to understand how it thinks.
Hunting is expensive; everything you need to hunt is over taxed to discourage you for doing so.
Hunting requires skills and it takes time to learn them. You must look for tracks, droppings bedding and understand where you are likely to find them and why they are not where you're looking.
If you don't like the cold this is the biggest disadvantage, You must be patient in freezing temperatures for many hours motionless to be successful
