phone one of the local auto parts houses in your area, and they will guide you. Some of them have disposal sites there at the store. TO ME IT WOULD DEPEND ON HOW MUCH GAS YOU HAVE, I COULD USE A LITTLE TO KILL WEEDS IN THE DRIVEWAY. BUT RIGHT NOW I ALSO HAVE 30 GALLONS OF CONTAMINATIED GAS IN MY DRIVEWAY, THE DISPOSAL SIGHTS CHARGE BY THE POUND. I THIND THERE ARE 7 POUNDS TO A GALLON OF GAS TIMES HOWEVER MUCH TO RECYCLE IT. I HAVE THOUGHT OF TAKING IT TO THE DESERT AND HANDING OUT FOR FIRE STARTERS BUT GAS IS A DANGEROUS FIRE STARTER. THE FUMES CAN EASILY OVERFLOW YOUR CONTAINER AND WILL SET FIRE TO ANYTHING ON THE GROUND WHEN YOU LIGHT IT. NOT RECOMMENDED.

1. Heat grill to 450-500 degrees. Scrape with a grill brush to remove any cooked on foods remnants.
2. LET COOL COMPLETELY
3. Remove grates and wash. Scrub with sponge.
4. Use grill cleaners designed to break up cooked on food for grills. This will make it much easier to get clean.
5. Rinse thoroughly and replace grates.
You should start by contacting your county's solid waste district for instructions on disposing of old gasoline. Most should have the capacity for disposing of it for you.
Just take it to Home Depot or Lowes or any place that fills the tanks and they will take it free of charge...........
You could donate it to a place such as Goodwill or The Salvation Army. You could also put it out with the garbage but not with the propane tank attached.
