Yes. A goldfish can live without a filter. They may not live as long, but they do not have to have a filter, or a heater. I had goldfish in a five gallon tank without a filter for a long time. Hope that this helps.
Up to 7-8 daysSince goldfish are coldblooded animals they do not burn up energy trying to regulate their body temperature like warmblooded animals do. In this way they don't have to eat as much to survive and function. Although goldfish can usually survive over a week without food it is not very good for them. It is important to feed goldfish regularly and to not overfeed them either. The above answer is PARTIALLY correct. I've had two goldfish I won at the fair in late august. they've been without food since about August 20, and it is now December. Goldfish can go a VERY long time without food it seems. They're names are Ann and Frank. Either they're miracle fish, or goldfish can simply go months without food. Hope this helps.
There is no way without killing it.
You're a spastic.
No, goldfish should only live with goldfish with a few small exceptions that do not include red ear sliders.

It is not possible to remove the meat of a fish without killing the fish.
If your goldfish is female and full of eggs, she may release them in the tank. If there is no male in the tank with her, she may very well simply reabsorb the eggs without ever releasing them at all.
a fish has gone 44 without food
A fish bowl is not a suitable receptacle for keeping fish in. A goldfish in a bowl will not live for long. To avoid temperature and chlorine shock water should be stood in a container beside the bowl for a few hours to equalise and allow chlorine to evaporate off. A bowls water should be changed at least 2 times daily to avoid ammonium poisoning of the fish. The minimum recommended size aquarium/tank for a goldfish is a 15 gal nominal tank. (goldfish grow to at least 10 inches). Bowls were used during the 1800 and early 1900s when people were uneducated and ignorant and did not know what is known today about keeping fish.
