Yes it does. However, this depends on the timing. I have rattled as early as the 2nd week of October with great success. At other times, it hasn't worked very well even in late October. I use the technique anyway. You never know when a curious buck is going to come in. I have had nice bucks come storming in, and some have sneaked in to check it out. I always combine rattling with a grunt call. Reason is that I have had bucks to come in to rattle, but I got them to come a little closer with a few short grunts. All in all, I suggest light rattling first then after 15-20 minutes, rattle a little louder. Rattling doesn't always work, but when it does... it can make for some real exciting hunts. When using the technique, try to make it sound real. Practice is important before trying it in the field. Start with a clash, pausing for a few seconds as you "turn & twist" the antlers. And I wouldn't make the entire mock fight last longer than 30seconds. GOOD LUCK!
try grunting and bleat calls. A lot of the the time you will see a Buck wodering who is making that noise. Rattling does not really work at this time of the year

If you hear rattling when you shake a light bulb, it could mean that the filament inside the bulb is broken. This can cause the bulb to not work properly or to flicker. It's best to replace the bulb to ensure proper function and safety.
they would use sharpened needles from ivory, antler, or bone. then they would use buffalo sinew or veins as thread. for their fabric they would use buffalo hide and deer skin.
This could be due to one of these errors:-Your lips' embouchure is not trained enough or strong enough to support the note. In this case, work your way up before hitting it (work on an E, then an F, an F#, and then the G).-Your valves are not in tightly enough, and are rattling.-A brace is broken, allowing the trumpet to rattle with the vibrations.-Something else on the trumpet is loose or broken; have it checked.
