To load one round: open the action and place a appropriate shell in the ejection port. Close action and fire.

To load multiple rounds: repeat above without firing. On the underside of the gun, near where the forearm stops moving rearward, is a pivoting plate. Take a shell and push up on that plate until you can see a hole the size of the shell. Press shell in until you hear a click. Repeat second step as necessary, but no more than four times with 2.75 and 3 inch shells.
