The difference between swift and wire transfer is that swift sends information from one bank or other financial institution to another. Swift sends the payment orders, but not the finances. With a wire transfer funds are transferred from one person to another.

SWIFT MT-103 is a form of SWIFT Communication. The SWIFT MT-103 transaction is used in banks as wire and telegraphic transfers to a foreign country.
Both 12-2 and 14-2 wire have 2 wires in a single cord. Neither contains a ground wire. Size 12 wire is a larger wire than size 14 wire. Size 12 wire can carry more amperage without getting hot and burning up. They would not be used for house wiring or machinery since they do not have a ground wire.

There are other data involved as well: Input Message Accountability Data (IMAD) and it is a mandatory unique key given to each wire transfer when using the Federal Reserve Bank Service. The second set of numbers is for outgoing transfers.The OMAD indicates a unique number assigned to each transfer providing delivery-related information. The OMAD consists of four components Output Cycle Date, Output Destination ID, Output Sequence Number and Output Date.
