Provided that words average about 5 letters each, 10000 characters would be a lovely 2,500 words. Have fun.

The first typewriter commercially available was the Hansen Writing Ball of 1870. the keyboard is difficult to describe (see the picture linked below). It contained the letters of the English alphabet, numbers 2-9, and several special characters.

The difference is the fact that the Canadian bilingual keyboard has a function key that changes the letters to the various characters needed when one is writing in French.

Special alt characters are special characters that cannot be typed easily or are not in the keyboard. You need to type in a number of keys to make special letters/symbols/etc come up.

If the choice is case-sensitive, meaning that it makes a difference if you choose upper or lower case (capitals and small letters), lower case alphanumeric characters would not include capital letters. A list of alphanumeric characters excludes all the signs.
