you would make an awfully lot of money buut yuu have tuu actually know whatt yuur doiing!! Hah The best advice for anyone considering opening a small novelty store is location, location, location. As in most business this is a very important aspect. Also it is important what your main goal of your business is. I think it is usually a great idea if feasible to use your business to pay for your real estate. If you pay rent and open a business you can pay for the location for years without ever making anything more than the small profit left after making your rent, bank payment, etc. If you use small business to pay for real estate it can prove very profitable and give you a great retirement. Remember in business there is no quick fix or easy money. Also just because you would like to have a store that sells something around doesn't mean anyone else does. Your market conditions are huge factors in knowing what type of store to open and also in how much you will make. I have a personal friend who's sister owns a novelty store that sells makeup, Vera Bradley bags, and other novelty items and she does very well with her business. It is in a small town and in a downtown shopping district. I would think that a good number to shoot for is 800-1000 dollars a day in total sales. Most novelty items have a high markup so you should be able to make a 50% profit margin (or 100% markup). Meaning that you would make between 400-500 dollars a day. With that taken into consideration, don't forget your bills and always find out what the minimum you would have to sale to make you what you need to live in. If it doesn't seem easy to do then don't try it. Remember business is not easy and there are no shortcuts. Hard work and dedication. Good luck!
To start a franchise, figure out which store you would like to own a branch of. Get a place for your store that meets all requirements. Hire employees and let the money come in! I'd also recommend talking to your local City Hall for any special requirements you need to meet.
I don't believe they franchise, but why would you want to-they are losing money to walmart and amazon. before you invest your life savings in a store-try to find one making a profit.
The kind of skills you would need to run a small business is management skills mostly. You would also need accounting skills to run your income and outcome money so your business doesn't fail. You might also want some website development skills that way you'll be able to make a website and in-turn save money too. That's about all i have to say about what skills you would need to run a small business. I !!!!!!!!!!!
Virtual private servers are a good choice for small businesses. Having this will allow for a small business to save the expense on technical employees as they would receive customer service and support from the virtual private server. Small businesses will save money and pain as if something is wrong with the server they would just have to call the company they are hosting with.
While there is no definite amount of money it will cost to outsource your company, it can actually be pretty high. Make sure you have enough resources and budget to do this.
If I were you I would start out small and get someone good with money!!!!!!:)
I would recommend a Halloween novelty store, a movie/media store, or a store like Spencers.
Your best bet would be either a small buisness game store or the online store: "99 gamers.com".
When it comes to finding a novelty gift for your boyfriend ask some of his friends what they might think is something he would enjoy. If that does not work go into a store that sells a lot of novelty items they might be able to give you a good idea.
This is not something that was made at the U.S. Mint. Sounds like a privately manufactured novelty item -- like somebody altered a penny and glued one of those mini-money coins into it. I would estimate value at no more than a buck or two -- as a novelty item.
The freezer section of your local grocery store. Just like you would in any other of the 49 states.
$1,000,000,000
I would try weddingwarehouse to find the best prices and novelty gifts for a wedding.
If you mean obvious fakes for joke purposes, my best suggestion would be someplace like Spenser Gifts that specializes in tasteless novelty products. If you're going to try to pass them off as legitimate, then we don't answer that sort of question here.
No, but you could for money or store credit. For instance, Gamestop would give you money/ store credit if you traded it in.
Awesome? I would not say it is awesome. It is just a novelty item that will be forgotten when the novelty wears off.
