午後 /gogo/ means "p.m." when telling the time.

午前 /gozen/ is for "a.m.".

E.g. : 午前8時に起きまして、午後11時に寝ます。(gozen hachi ji ni okimashite, gogo juuichi ji ni nemasu) means [I get up at 8 a.m. and go to bed at 11 p.m.].
