It was the year of 1760; The war was still going in Europe. But it was over here in North America. The end of the war was a ruff time period for all of the people to live in because many people had died,they did NOT have enough food for there familys. And many more reasons.

They lost French Canada (Quebec) and their outposts in the Ohio Valley. They retained some control over the western half of the Mississippi valley (Louisiana) for another 40 years by ceding it to Spain before the end of the war.

The french gained nothing. They fought the war against Britain. They wanted the land for Beaver skins. The British wanted the land for their 13 colonies settlers and to garden and grow plants. The French were friends with the Indians, so they double teamed against Britain. However, Britain won
