"Twelve" in Spanish is "doce". Pronounced "dho-say". The "d" in Spanish is usually a much softer sound than in English. Many say it sounds like the English sound "th", but that can lead to pronunciation problems. For example, the Spanish word "ciudad" is really not pronounced as "see-oo- THATH.

You will probably do pretty well by reducing the air volume of the sound, and placing your tongue more between the teeth than you would in English.
