The person below me is wrong too, "Jaloux/se" means jealous. "Haineux" means "Haineous", which is more or less a hater. The concept just doesn't really translate well in french for cultural reasons.

Haters can be translated in "Haineux" (f : haineuse) which is also and mainly an adjective.
But french do not use "haineux" as a noun, they would rather say
"c'est quelqu'un de haineux" (adjective) (He is someone who hates)
rather than
Un haineux (expired h) (a hater)
