It is ever so easy to start a diary. All you need is a book that you can record things in, like an A4 pad or a small diary 2010 (or if you want to start one now, which I don't recommend, 2009).
Normally places like you local Tescos, Asdas and Sainsburies will have something of the kind. You need a pen you will have with you most/all of the time.
Once you have gotten everything you need, the rest is simple. You need to write in your diary every day, or every week minimum. The best time to write if you're writing daily is just before you got to bed. Past, present and then future (optional).
