Probably this isn't possible. Even names that are from sons of japaneses, born in a foreing country, they write these names in katakana. If you wish, maybe you could search what means your name, in your own language, and then ask again for a translation. But this is pretty risky, because usually you do not translate names to a foreing language... You can find out that originally your name means "Tree" and then in Japan you gonna be called 木 (Ki)... =]
"The content of your character" comes from Dr. Martin Luther King's "I have a dream" speech, which he delivered in 1963. The speech contains the following line:"I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character."R.I.P. Dr. King.
Mr. Martin is a perfect gentleman, has no vices and quietly does his job most efficiently. Mrs. Barrows, on the other hand, is overbearing, rude and inconsiderate. James Thurber is perhaps one of the best authors to capture the true nature of the human character. This is what makes him such a delightful read.
Martin is spelled the same in French.
