Well, just to clarify...I'm not Dominican and only know personally a handful of Dominicans and of those few....I've never asked them how they say "pork" in Spanish. However, I do know the various words that Spanish-speakers use when they want to say "pig", e.g. puerco, lechon, cochino, cerdo, marrano, chancho....those are all of the ones that I know right of the bat. Usually, though, with regards to "pork" I hear "carne de cerdo/puerco". Hope that this helps!
