"Oligarchia" (oligarchy) - this was a name which Aristotle gave to a political system with one distinct feature. In such a system real power belongs to a very restricted circle of men which are called "oligarchs".
In modern Russian "oligarch" is a shamelessly rich man who enjoys close ties with mafia and Government, if in Russia exists any difference between that very unholy twain.
