It's either not a Morgan dollar or not from 1876. The term "Morgan dollar" refers to the standard silver dollars designed by George T. Morgan and minted from 1878 to 1904 and in 1921. Trade dollars were struck for use in international trade and were designed by William Barber, who was more famous for creating the images used on dimes, quarters, and halves from 1892 to 1916. Peace dollars were minted from late 1921 until 1935 and have the word PEACE on the back. Your coin is called a Morgan dollar, after its designer. Please see the Related Question.
There were never any brass Morgan dollars minted by the US government. Either the coin was plated in brass or the dollar is counterfeit.
All Morgan dollars have the same reverse design, with only a few very minor variations. None were minted without the words ONE DOLLAR. It's possible you have a copy, replica, or counterfeit but it would have to be examined in person to know for sure.

1892 Liberty silver dollar mint mark in on the reverse just above and between the D and O in Dollar at the bottom of the coin. Mine is marked with an S.
