Which mountain rainges make up the pacific northwest region of the us?
The Pacific Northwest contains the Cascade Mountain range and is
bounded to the east by the Rocky Mountains range. Out on the
Olympic Peninsula near Seattle is the wild Olympic Mountain range,
surrounded on three sides by the ocean. Oregon features the Pacific
Coast Range, and northern Idaho is home to the Sawtooth Range,
Bitterroot Range, Cabinet Range, and Selkirk Range, among the total
of 80 mountain ranges in the State.
