The United States has a large population, more than most nations. This point is mentioned because it means there are more opinions on any political issue then in times of the past. To serve this large population, news media has expanded via numerous cable TV stations, internet news sources and more radio, newspapers and magazine sources. This large and diversified media provides information they believe are important and also offer editorial opinions. From these sources, Americans receive information that effects their opinions on political issues. Because of the diversity of news that becomes a daily diet, the best way to keep informed and have a foundation on which opinions are made, the best thing a clear minded citizen must do is access as many media sources as is reasonable, in order to form opinions on politics.
