The renaissance would have spread but the speed at which it spread wouldn't even be close to the real speed. The people of the Renaissance's education in general wouldn't have been as high which means that the speed of learning would have decreased because more people would stick to the old ways approved by the church because it wouldn't be that important to read. The printing press allowed a mass production of books which meant that more people could learn more information, and not just the upper class.

The printing press helped spread Renaissance ideas by allowing for the mass production of books and pamphlets, making knowledge more accessible to a wider audience. This led to an increase in literacy rates and the sharing of new ideas and information, which in turn fueled the intellectual and cultural advancements of the Renaissance movement.
