A Campus Paper's range is very limited, it only informs the students about what is happening inside the school, or anything that includes the school's concern. It is also written by chosen students and published only inside the campus.
While a National, or Community Newspaper's range is not that limited.
It contains news, features etc. that concerns the whole community or nation, and not just the school itself. It is also written by trained and graduated Journalists and is published throughout the whole Community and Nation.
By the Way, Li'l Rae Answered this, forgot to add it so I edited it again.
A campus newspaper is typically run by students or staff at a school, college, or university, providing news and information relevant to that specific educational community. A community newspaper, on the other hand, serves a wider audience within a particular geographic area, covering news and events relevant to the local community at large. Campus newspapers focus on campus-related news, while community newspapers cover news and events within a specific town or region.
It depends. The U.S. Supreme Court has held that collegiate journalists have the same rights to free speech as any other professional journalist does. That means the administration cannot censor or review before publication or broadcast. High school journalists though are not afforded that protection, allowing advisers and other school authorities to control student content.
Also, depending which school you're talking about, campus publications and broadcast stations are often subsidized or fully funded entirely by their host school. This can come in the form of the school covering production costs, providing free work space or scholarships to student journalists.
Schools offering those benefits for the educational opportunities student journalism provides would likely face a First Amendment challenge if they attempted to withdraw benefits to silence a journalist or control content.
