I think the The Economist is a fairly balanced source for world news. It's somewhat conservative, but even Gore Vidal praises it. (And it's conservative in the old-school, UK sense of the word not in the current RNC sense of the word.) I don't always agree with their editorials, but they provide a good round-up of international news.
MSNBC is not news. It is a liberal owned propaganda machine that spews hatred towards anyone or anything that does not adhere to their socialist beliefs. It is extremely difficult, these days to get any honest and unbiased from any media outlet. MSNBC is just a classic example of how out of touch the media is with ordinary, hard working Americans who don't want to be brainwashed into thinking that we are worthless and evil for wanting to live free and independent.
