Radio Mapping.
This appears to be a true statement.
Advantages of Lambert projection include minimal distortion near the equator, making it suitable for mapping mid-latitude regions. However, it distorts scale and shape towards the poles, which can be a disadvantage when mapping areas far from the equator. It is commonly used for thematic mapping and understanding spatial relationships.
A map projection is a way to represent the curved surface of the Earth on the flat surface of a map.
Its called a projection map
Generally speaking, in mathematics, a projection is a mapping of a set (or of a mathematical structure) which is idempotent, which means that a projection is equal to its composition with itself. A projection may also refer to a mapping which has a left inverse.

The Cylindrical projection should be the basis for a large rectangular area and a Conic projection for a triangular area. Therefore use a circular/Azimuthal for a small area or even conic.
3D projection is any method of mapping three-dimensional points to a two-dimensional plane. It is used for certain types of engineering drawings.
