IT depends, if a planet is closer to the sun the temperature is high. Take Mercury for example it is very hot due to its location near the sun. However planets farther away are much cooler.

Temperatures on other planets can be higher due to factors such as their proximity to the sun, composition of their atmospheres, and greenhouse gas levels. Some planets may also experience extreme heat due to volcanic activity or other geological processes.

Why is the surface temperature of Venus higher than the surface temperatures of the other inner?

The surface temperature of Venus is higher than the surface temperatures of the other inner planets because of its thick atmosphere.

What is the temperature of other planets when compared to Jupiter's temperature?

Most other planets in our solar system have lower average temperatures than Jupiter, with some exceptions like Mercury which has higher temperatures due to its proximity to the Sun. For example, Venus has a surface temperature hotter than Jupiter due to its thick atmosphere trapping heat, while Mars has much colder temperatures. Overall, Jupiter has a higher average temperature compared to most other planets in our solar system.

Why are the temperature in each if the other terrestrial planets more extreme than the temperatures on earth?

No

Why is the temperature higher on these 4 inner planets than the 5 outer planets?

The inner planets are closer to the Sun than the outer planets, so they receive more direct sunlight and heat. Additionally, the inner planets have solid surfaces that can absorb and retain heat, while the outer planets are mostly composed of gas and have no solid surface to absorb heat. This combination of factors leads to higher temperatures on the inner planets compared to the outer planets.

Uranus is different from most other planets because it?

Uranus is different from most other planets because it rotates on its side, giving it unique seasons and a distinct appearance. Additionally, Uranus has a very cold temperature due to its distance from the Sun, and it is made mostly of gases like hydrogen, helium, and methane.

Why is the temperature on Venus higher than the temperature on the other planets soloar system?

It's mainly to do with its closeness to the sun, compared with the other planets. Although mercury is closer, Venus is hotter due to it's thick carbon dioxide atmosphere, which holds the energy from the sun a lot better than mercury, which has no atmosphere.

Why is the temperature higher in the inner planets than the outer planets?

Planets closer to the sun will receive more of the suns energy per unit of area on their surface than planets further from the sun, so will generally be hotter.

How does the temperature of the inner planets compare to the temperature of the outer planets?

The inner planets are typically warmer than the outer planets. This is because the inner planets are closer to the sun and receive more direct sunlight, leading to higher temperatures. In contrast, the outer planets are much farther from the sun and are colder as a result.

Planet that has no ocean and a very hot temperature?

We have two such planets in the solar system, which are Mercury and Venus. There are also several other planets that have no oceans but which are cold.

Why are the temperature on each of the other terrestrial planets more extreme than the temperature on earth?

Because there eather closer to the sun or farther way.
