Helium is non reactive molecule because all its electron shells are full. It has dosen't want to give up or get electrons and therfore reacts with nothing. All the molecules in column 18 react with nothing and are all noble gases.

∙ 12y agoHelium is not a compound because it consists of only one type of atom, making it an element. Compounds are formed when atoms of different elements chemically bond together. Since helium atoms are all the same, it is not considered a compound.

It isn't flammable because it doesn't react with other elements because it is an inert gas.

helium doesn't form compounds
No, helium inside a balloon is not a compound. Helium is a chemical element and is the second lightest element on the periodic table. It exists as individual helium atoms inside the balloon.
nothing helium will not bond with anything and there for can not create a compound But there may be a few derivatives of a metastable F HeO- anion, in which helium is covalently bonded to oxygen.
One compound containing helium is helium hydride (HeH+). It is the first compound to be formed in the universe and is found in planetary atmospheres. It is important in astrochemistry for understanding the chemistry of the early universe.
It is a element
No. Helium is not an compound, it is a element.
Helium is not a compound, it is an element.
Helium is not a compound, it is an element.
Helium is an element and not a compound or mixture.
No it is not, helium is an element. A compound is a combination of two or more elements.
Helium (He) is a chemical element, not a compound; the chemical symbol is He.
helium doesn't form any compound
Helium is an element.
Helium is an element.
No, helium gas is not a compound. Helium is an element, which means it consists of only one type of atom.
No, helium is an element, not a compound molecule. It is a noble gas with the chemical symbol He and atomic number 2. Helium exists as single atoms and does not form molecules.
No, helium is not a compound. It is a monatomic gas, meaning it consists of single atoms of helium.
