what do you call a ordinary body cell? the most cells are determined on a single propose. They have different rezecptors, membranproteins and so on. So a neuron is special, but all cells are special.

Neurons are specialized cells that transmit electrical and chemical signals in the nervous system, allowing for communication between different parts of the body. Unlike other cells, neurons have parts called dendrites and axons that help them receive and transmit signals, as well as the ability to generate and conduct electrical impulses. Neurons also have unique shapes and connections that allow them to form complex networks and enable functions like learning, memory, and coordination.

Neurons are similar to cells in many ways. However, unlike cells, neurons have extensions known as dendrites and axons, that enable communication through an electro-chemical process that can send nerve impulses or physical actions. Neurons possess chemicals known as neurotransmitters and synapses, which are specialized structures.

A neuron is an electrically charged molecule in an atom. This applies to chemistry. A cell is the basic building block of living things. This applies to Biology. You may have meant nucleus in which case the nucleus is the nerve center of the cell not a cell itself. All in all if this is homework help you had better get studying.

It gives off electric signal. It does not replenish itself(meaning there are limited amounts of them)
