I installed spiral fluorescent light bulbs and a motion activated light switch for my kitchen light and noticed that it flickered when it was inactivated. From what I understand, the motion switch doesn't stop the current completely; it uses a small amount to run the motion sensor. That small amunt of current will build up in the flourescent bulb and discharge causing it to flicker. Fortunately, the light fixture I had held two bulbs and I simply replaced one of the two spiral fluoresent bulbs with a regular incandescent bulb and the flickering stopped. Based on that,I assume some current is still getting to yourlight bulb which is causing it to flicker.

Yes, you can use a fluorescent bulb in a floor lamp as long as the bulb fits the lamp's socket and wattage requirements. Make sure to check the lamp's specifications to ensure compatibility and consider the lighting quality and intensity of the fluorescent bulb for your needs.
No, a light bulb will not light up if electricity does not reach it. Electricity is required to flow through the filament in the bulb to generate light. If there is no electrical current, the bulb will not illuminate.
No, oranges cannot light a light bulb because they do not produce enough electricity or energy to generate light in a light bulb. Oranges do not have the capacity to function as a power source for a light bulb.
Florescent Bulbs are full of gases that create light when electricity is put threw them.
