∙ 12y agoChloroplasts need mitochondria because they provide energy in the form of ATP for chloroplast functions, such as photosynthesis. Similarly, mitochondria need chloroplasts because they rely on carbon compounds produced by photosynthesis in chloroplasts for their energy production through cellular respiration. This mutual interdependence ensures the efficient functioning of both organelles in plant cells.
Mitochondria and chloroplasts have their own DNA. Mitochondria DNA is circular, similar to bacterial DNA, and is inherited maternally. Chloroplasts also have circular DNA and are thought to have originated from endosymbiotic relationships with ancient prokaryotes.
Chloroplast is needed for photosynthesis. Mitochondria is needed for respiration
Mitochondria use glucose as fuel.Glucose are produced in chloroplast.
No only plats have chloroplasts. Mitochondria are in both

Plants cells have chloroplasts because they need it for a process called photosynthesis. But both plant and animal cells have mitochondria. Animal cells can use the mitochondria to get energy that why they need chloroplast.

Mitochondra and chloroplasts are in plants.Animals have only mitochondria.
Chloroplasts have chlorophyll, mitochondria don't. Chloroplast carry out photosynthesis and produce glucose. Mitochondria carry out respiration and break down glucose
Chloroplasts are glucose manufacturers. Mitochondria utilize those glucose
The three cell organelles that have double membranes are: 1. Nucleus 2. Mitochondria 3. Chloroplast
mitochondria and chloroplast are similar as chloroplast and mitochondria both are power houses of cell.chloroplast prepares food and mitochondria releases oxygen as both are providing power they are similar
Respiration is conducted by mitochondria.Photosynthesis is conducted by chloroplast.
