It's important to all life. Starting with plants there is a chain.

Plants fix carbon dioxide into starches and sugars during photosynthesis. They use the energy of light to make CO2 and water into sugars.

We animals need them to do that so that we can have food and get energy. We digest the sugars and starches produced by plants, in our gut, and that feeds our cells.

Carbon dioxide is important for photosynthesis as it is one of the key reactants required for the process. During photosynthesis, plants and other autotrophic organisms use carbon dioxide along with water and sunlight to produce glucose and oxygen. Without carbon dioxide, photosynthesis cannot occur, leading to a disruption in the food chain and oxygen production in the environment.

Plants use Carbon dioxide in addition to water to make it's food glucose by the process of photosynthesis . Water + carbon dioxide ---> Glucose + oxygen . Glucose is of course used for growth or stored as starch .

Plants give out carbon dioxide in respiration and take in oxygen , so plants play an important rule in maintaining the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and in the carbon cycle .

Carbon dioxide molecules are very important for photosynthesis

What are two important ingredients for photosynthesis?

Two important ingredients for photosynthesis are sunlight and carbon dioxide. Sunlight provides the energy needed for the process, while carbon dioxide is used as a source of carbon to build sugars.

What do plants soak up that is an important ingredient for photosynthesis?

Plants soak up carbon dioxide from the air, which is an important ingredient for photosynthesis. This carbon dioxide is converted into carbohydrates using energy from sunlight in the process of photosynthesis.

Why carbon dioxide is important for plants?

because its required for photosynthesis

Why oxygen important for photosynthesis?

It's a by-product of photosynthesis. The process uses Carbon Dioxide.

Why is carbon dixoide important in photosythsis?

Carbon Dioxide is important in photosynthesis , because during the process while the plant gives of Carbon dioxide , we then use that air to BREATHE. so photosynthesis is a reason were able to breathe :)

What important gas does plant absorb during photosynthesis?

carbon dioxide

Is carbon dioxide important for plants how?

Yes - most plants absorb carbon dioxide and convert it to plant material via photosynthesis.

Why is fire important in nutrient recycling?

Because it releases carbon in fuels as carbon dioxide The plants used the carbon for photosynthesis

Carbon dioxide is a product of photosynthesis?

Actually, carbon dioxide is a reactant in photosynthesis. During photosynthesis, plants use carbon dioxide, water, and sunlight to produce glucose and oxygen as a byproduct.

Does photosynthesis allow carbon to enter the atmosphere?

photosynthesis takes carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere and recycles it to make oxygen. that is why trees are very important to the earth
