No one discovered it. We started here so everyone who has ever lived has been aware of it, at least aware of the part where they lived. It's hard to say exactly which person or society first realized that earth was a planet. There is evidence that people on the five major continents all had their own awareness of the concept even though those concepts were somewhat different from each other or from what we know today.
