Brewster-Newton theory, named after Sir David Brewster and Sir Isaac newton, is a concept in optics that explains the phenomenon of polarization by reflection. It states that when light strikes a surface at a specific angle known as the Brewster angle, the reflected light becomes completely polarized parallel to the surface. Brewster's Law mathematically relates the Brewster angle to the refractive indices of the two media at the interface.
