Photosynthesis comes from greek photo means Energy and synthesis means making..this process is called energy making process or photosynthesis.

Plants dont need oxygen(exception exists)They consume cabon dioxide and water and through sun light they convert CO2 and water into Potential energy and pure clean filtered oxygen for us(for human and animal)

We eat vegetables and fruit(the potential energy) and use pure oxygen that is WHY I say plant more trees dont cut trees....Or we well run out of pure clean and filtered oxygen...

myth some people say trees release CO2 at night?

Do we plant treeees to kill ourself? Do we plant more trees to have more canbon dioxide?(more cabon dioxide means more hot weather)Do we plant trees to have hotter weather? no way man.

Quite some plants(not all) release so little carbon dioxide at night(when they are not breathing)which is not noticeable .....People make it a big deal.

What process adds and removes gases from the atmosphere?

The process that adds gases to the atmosphere is volcanic activity, which releases gases such as carbon dioxide and sulfur dioxide. The process that removes gases from the atmosphere is photosynthesis, where plants absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen.

Which process removes carbon dioxide from the atmosphere?

There are several. The main ones are:PhotosynthesisCarbonate formationDissolution of carbon dioxide into seawater

Why are the process of photosynthesis called an air purifying process?

The process of photosynthesis is called air purifing process as during this process plants take in carbon dioxide released from living body and gives out oxygen needed for the living organisms

What process carries oxygen to and carbon dioxide away from cells?

Respiration is the process that carries oxygen to the cells and removes carbon dioxide from them. Blood carries the oxygen to the cells.

What process do organisms return carbon dioxide to the atmosphere?

Organisms return carbon dioxide to the atmosphere through the process of respiration. During respiration, organisms break down organic molecules to release energy, producing carbon dioxide as a byproduct that is then released into the air.

Photosynthetic organisms derive their carbon from?

Photosynthetic organisms derive their carbon from carbon dioxide in the atmosphere during the process of photosynthesis. They utilize sunlight to convert carbon dioxide and water into glucose and oxygen.

What processes removes carbon dioxide from the air or water?

Photosynthesis in plants and algae is a natural process that removes carbon dioxide from the air. In water, carbon dioxide can be absorbed by algae and other aquatic plants through a process called aquatic photosynthesis. Additionally, chemical weathering of rocks can also help remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere over long periods of time.

What process removes carbon dioxide from the atmosphere acting as a carbon sink?

Photosynthesis is a process that removes carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, acting as a carbon sink. During photosynthesis, plants absorb carbon dioxide and convert it into oxygen and glucose, which is then stored as biomass. This helps to reduce the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, balancing the carbon cycle.

What process removes carbon from the land?

The process that removes carbon from the land is photosynthesis, where plants take in carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and convert it into oxygen and organic carbon compounds through the use of sunlight. This helps in capturing and storing carbon in biomass, reducing the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.

Which process in living things removes oxygen from the oxygen cycle?

The process of respiration in living things removes oxygen from the oxygen cycle. During respiration, organisms take in oxygen and use it to break down glucose to produce energy, releasing carbon dioxide as a byproduct.

What takes away carbon dioxide?

Haemoglobin removes carbon dioxide

What process in organisms is responsible for the release of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere?

The process responsible for the release of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere in organisms is cellular respiration. During cellular respiration, organisms break down glucose to release energy, which produces carbon dioxide as a byproduct.
