Based on all the evidence, it would appear a Rorqual(Fin or Blue Whale) would be in the top-hearted category, the heart of such a beast weighs 500lbs about that of a good sized Truck engine! and probably runs better too, no pollution control devices on these deep-sea pumps. The size figure is from M. Paul Budker, a French oceanographer, more accurately marine biologist, and a pen-pal of my Father, many years ago, Mr. Budker, a Frenchman had actually been on whaling expeditions, not the usual fare for a *Dry as dust* Museum scientist, as he remarked in his letters. While it is true that the Blue Whale has the largest heart of all mammals, as the question referred to "land" mammals, the answer is the giraffe. It requires such a large heart to sustain blood pressure through the long neck and into the brain.

A giraffe's heart is 2 feet (0.6 meters) long and weighs about 25 pounds (11 kilograms).
To my knowledge this is only surpasses by the heart of the Blue Whale.
The difference in size between land living animals are sort of compareable to the size of their hearts. It is the Giraffes long neck that is the direct reason for this animals big heart.
Note:
If only counting land-living animals, then the large African Grey Elephant have the second largest heart known..

The Blue Whale has got a hart that big that a human can easily crawl through. Its enormous heart weighs as much as a small car. This is the biggest heart in any living mammal/animal known to science today.
If comparing heart size with body size, then the Kolibri bird (Commonly known as a Humming Bird) has got the largest heart. close to 2.4% of the body weight makes up the heart here. In comparison an average human heart only makes up 0.42% of total body weight.
