By sky let's say you mean the ambient air in the lowest part of the atmosphere. In this case sometimes the ground is warmer, especially during the day and sometimes the ambient air is warmer, especially at night. It's a seasonal thing too. I we assume, by the sky you mean the upper part of the atmosphere called the upper troposphere then typically the ground is warmer.
The white stuff that falls from the sky is snow. Snow forms when water vapor in the atmosphere freezes into ice crystals and falls to the ground. It commonly occurs in colder climates during the winter season.
The opposite of sky is typically considered to be ground or earth.
Lightning occurs when electrical charges between the earth and the sky are equalized. It can strike from the sky to the ground, the ground to the sky, or from cloud to cloud.
snow or ice pellets.
The term that describes the very top of the sky is the "zenith." It refers to the point directly above a particular location or observer, where the sky seems to meet the ground.

It is colder on mountains because wind pushes more clouds and cold rushes up to the top of the curve of the mountain and the same on the other side into the sky.
Typically, the ground is colder than the air. This is because the ground absorbs and retains heat from the sun more slowly than the air, resulting in cooler ground temperatures.

Lightning typically travels from the sky to the ground. It is initiated by a downward-moving stepped leader from the cloud that is met by an upward-moving streamer from the ground, creating the visible lightning bolt.
on the ground

The sun is lower in the sky
Hail falls from the sky when supercooled water droplets in a thunderstorm freeze into ice pellets due to updrafts carrying them to colder altitudes. These ice pellets grow as they collide with other droplets and fall to the ground when they become too heavy for the updraft to support.
An air state. :D
lol no it is not its on the ground
The horizon is where the ground and sky appear to meet at eye level. It is the apparent line that separates the Earth from the sky when viewed from a specific vantage point.
