Salt is found in two sources. One source is salt that is mined. This is the salt that is table salt and other types of salt. It comes from the ground, is mined, and processed with chemicals to make it white for table salt. One of the largest salt mines in the world is located in Poland. It has a hospital, church, and hotel in it. The other source is the ocean. This is sea salt and comes directly from the sea. Beds of sea water are made and allowed to evaporate until all the water is gone and the salt is left. It is then cut into blocks and sold as sea salt. Nothing is added to it and sea salt can come in different colors depending on the area where the salt is located. It can be white, red, gray, black, and other shades. No other things are added to the sea salt so it is a natural product. It does come in fine grain to small crystals to be used in a sea salt grinder at the table.

Salt is predominantly found in oceans and seas, where it exists in high concentrations in seawater. It can also be found in salt mines underground, salt flats, and salt pans. Additionally, salt is abundant in certain rock formations and deposits around the world.
