Where and what year did hurricane Ivan happen?
Hurricane Ivan was formed on the 12th of September 2005. It was formed off the east coast of Trinidad and Tobago. It was a category 3 hurricane and was expected to wipe out the entire island of Tobago but luckily it swerved past and saved us here in Trinidad and Tobago. Unfortunately it caused many deaths throughout Grenada.

∙ 12y agoYou can't necessarily say where Hurricane Ivan happened, because it had such a long track. The storm formed southwest of Cape Verde, and propelled itself through the Caribbean. It then hit East Alabama. The remnants made a loop and the storm reformed and hit Texas. For a complete track, you can visit Ivan's wikipedia page.

Hurricane Andrew made landfall in Florida on August 24, 1992 as a Category 5 hurricane. It then moved on to hit Louisiana on August 26, 1992 as a Category 3 hurricane.
Hurricane Ivan hit Grenada in September 2004. It caused significant damage to the island, including destruction of homes, infrastructure, and loss of life.
