Does it become more difficult for a cell to get enough oxygen and nutrients when a cell divides?

Yes it does becomes more difficult for the cell to get enough oxygen and nutrients

What are two main problems a cell would have if it grew too large?

The cell has more trouble moving enough nutrients & wastes across the cell membrane.

What would happen or not happen if diffusion were stopped?

If diffusion were to be stopped, certain processes in living organisms would be affected. Nutrients and waste products would not be able to move through cell membranes, leading to a lack of essential nutrients and a build-up of waste. This could potentially lead to cell damage and dysfunction.

What prevent a cell to become too large?

A cell is dependent on nutrients and other molecules diffusing into the cell. This process works most efficiently when the surface area to volume ratio is higher. If there were a cell the size of a person, the necessary nutrients would not diffuse fast enough for cell function.

What would happen if a cell membrane became non-permeable instead of being selectively permeable?

The cell would ultimately die because nutrients and other vital materials would not be able to enter the cell and waste and harmful materials would not be able to leave the cell.

What do you think will happen to the cell if the plasma membrane does not function property?

The cell would be unnable to regulate molecules entering and leaving, which would kill the cell (toxins build up, being unnable to import essential nutrients).

What dificulties does a large cell have?

The cell might have difficulty supplying nutrients and expelling enough waste products.
