If your diaphragm is paralyzed, your lung does not work at all. The diaphragms help the lung to ingest air , then expire air form your lungs..if that makes any sense. Without the diaphragm working the lung just sits there and does nothing, Air can come in, but its not helped. When the diaphragm is not working then the the internal organs can move up and cramp the lung as well... making breathing even more difficult. Ie the liver normally moves higher into where the lung hangs and cramp the lung by about 50 % in most cases. This has different affects for different people and can really make breathing very difficult and stop most things you do. Most people can cope with it, however life as you know it is over and you cannot do any thing whats ever that needs exertion. Simple things like making love are very difficult even in good cases. Running is out, swimming is out most people can walk without any problems, climbing stairs etc is very hard.
There is Four options is you have this condition:
1. Do nothing and get used to doing nothing
2. Get really fit by walking and dieting strictly (almost impossible)
3 Have a plication operation: this ties the Diaphragm down and keeps the internal organs such as the liver in place. The diaphragm will never be able to work again. The known benefits are not exact and does carry risk
4. Possibly can have the Phenric nerve replaced ( a nerve from the calf grafted into the neck) in a section, which may result in the diaphragm working again
This is only done in New Jersey and is quite new and very expensive and not guaranteed to work
if you need any further info please post

Having a hole in the diaphragm is called a diaphragmatic hernia. This condition can lead to organs like the stomach protruding through the opening in the diaphragm, causing symptoms like heartburn and difficulty breathing. Treatment usually involves surgery to repair the hole in the diaphragm.
Should Earth ever collide with a black hole, it would get destroyed.
You would have a black hole the size of the combined mass of the two black holes.
It would be torn apart by tidal forces as it approached the black hole. Once it crosses the event horizon id disappears into the black hole forever.
The bag would be sucked in, you would never see it again.

abdominal aorta is the portion of the descending aorta inferior to the diaphragm. it passes thru a hole in the diaphragm called aortic hiatus
If global warming affects the hole, the hole will become larger. This would mean more UV's.
Gone.
1 black hole would end all movies or movies would be created in 1067
Yes it could, but would never happen.
