So many birds (including parrots and macaws), insects, mammals, reptiles and amphibians live by the equator; some easy to be mentioned would be big cats (jaguars, cougars), crocodiles (alligators and caimans too), monkeys (including baboons, apes) and lemurs, giant constrictor (or not so) snakes, giant or small eagles, cockatoos and cockatiels, also leopards, tigers and leopards - but also many animals that are common in other (non-equatorial) areas - all these and those varying from a continent to other, from a country or area to another.
