Industrialized hemp plant. You can not get high off of it because it does not bud. It is used for making rope, clothes, and other useful items. It is illegal to grow in America though just like Marijuana plants.

Sorghum is a plant that closely resembles corn but is a different species. It is often mistaken for corn due to its similar appearance, including tall stalks with clusters of seeds at the top, but it is actually a different grain crop with a slightly different taste and uses.

Can you grow corn from a piece of corn?

yes, it should grow with no problem. <><><> Maybe. If the original corn is a hybrid, what you get from planting it may not look like what you planted. If it is an "heirloom" non-hybrid seed, such as Country Gentleman sweet corn, you will get Country Gentleman. If it is a Hybrid Super Sweet, you may get a plant that looks more like a grass- one of the parents of the hybrid.
