Unlike the previous year 2000 model that required Premium fuel, the 2001 Aurora V6 & V8 both can run on Regular.
The 2001 Oldsmobile Aurora is designed to run on regular unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher. It is important to follow the manufacturer's recommendations for optimal performance and fuel efficiency.
The 2001 Daewoo Lanos uses H4 halogen bulbs for its headlights.

SAE 5w30 any major brand. Use High Mileage oil if you have over 100,000 miles on the odometer.
5w30, full synthetic if you want a better oil. may want a different weight if you live in an area with climate extremes.
10mm socket. May want to go with the longer socket. A bit of a squeeze either way. It's called a water pump socket. It costs as much as the water pump itself.
Premium (93 Octane) will allow a 2001 Aurora V8 to run at maximum power. Lower octane fuels will produce less power because the PCM will retard the spark to prevent knock, and that will lead to a noticeable drop in power....up to 10% less.
Generally speaking 10w-30, but in winter time in areas where temp drops below freezing 5w- 30 can be used until temp comes back up.
