Biology is the study of life and the world is full of living organisms. To be a being in this world is to have to encounter and interact daily with living organisms (plants, animals, bacteria, etc) and with materials made from living organisms (textiles, food, wood, etc). Also, being a living organism yourself, it is important to know what kind of creature you are. A good high school biology class would improve your understanding of all these matters.
Studying Biology in high school helps you understand the living world around you, from cells to ecosystems. It also provides a foundation for future studies or careers in science, healthcare, and environmental fields. Additionally, it can help you develop critical thinking skills and a better appreciation for the complexity of life.
Most HS sophomore take Chemistry 1. High performers, or students who took Biology in 8th grade can take Chemistry as a freshman.
To study microbiology, it is recommended to take courses in biology, chemistry, and mathematics at secondary school. Additionally, focusing on subjects like physics, computer science, and statistics can also be beneficial for a career in microbiology. Participation in science fairs, research projects, or internships related to biology can further enhance your experience and knowledge in the field.
To become an audiologist, it is recommended to take courses in biology, chemistry, physics, psychology, and mathematics during high school. These subjects provide a strong foundation for pursuing a degree in audiology and understanding the scientific principles related to the field. Additionally, communication and language courses can also be beneficial for developing skills in working with patients.
All of the above. You will need lots of science credits with either field. Biology will be more useful for pre-med. The other two would be useful for both.
To prepare for a kinesiology degree, consider taking biology, anatomy, physiology, physical education, and psychology courses in high school. These classes will provide a strong foundation in the sciences and give you a better understanding of the human body and movement. Additionally, participating in sports or extracurricular activities related to exercise science can also be beneficial.
Classes that veterinarians take in high school would be biology (other sciences) and math
Biology... i think :)
Biology, like Calculus and Physics, is a requirement for one to graduate from high school. You can take more advanced Biology courses in college, but they are on top of the pre-college you get from taking a high school Biology course. (Note: There might be some exceptions to this)
---- It depends on your school, but you most likely would have to take a test and have strait A's if you are allowed to.
Biology
yes
Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics
probably biology and geography an more maybe:)
Different science lessons are: Chemistry, Biology and Physics.
science stream with biology necessarily as a subject
Biology, Anatomy, Chemistry
The ones that will get you into an engineering college. Past that point, no one cares about your high school courses any more. To prepare adequately, though, you should at a minimum take every single non-remedial science and mathematics course offered at your high school (well, you can probably skip Biology and/or Advanced Biology without causing any problems).
