Let's look at human cells. If you didn't have cells you wouldn't exist. Your entire body, skeleton, muscles, organs, etc are comprised of cells. Inside those cells are thousands of water molecules (hence the reason your body is 70% water). The cells make it possible for everything in the human body to exist.

It has a nucleus which is a powerhouse where its food is created. This food does the same thing for the cell as our food does for us - it fuels it with energy so our organs, tissues etc can function.

A cell has three main parts - the cell membrane, nucleus, and cytoplasm. The cell membrane controls what enters and leaves the cell, the nucleus contains the cell's DNA and controls cell activities, and the cytoplasm is a jelly-like substance where organelles are suspended and where many cellular processes take place.

The parts of a animal cell are the: -nucleus which controls all the activities around the cell and contains DNA -cytoplasm which is a jelly like substance that contains water and allows the other parts in the cell to move around freely -cell membrane which allow the exchange of gases to and fro from the cell The plant cell as the three parts above plus: -chloroplast which contains the chlorophyll needed to make food for the plant -cell wall which gives the cell it's shape. Because cells can burst due to too much water but the plant cell cannot burst easily thanks to the cell wall
