In human terms, it is an important resource because it is an important source of food (fish). The oceans also hold the largest amount of species, a large portion of which are yet unknown to man. Finally, the oceans are crucial for the regulation of the earth's climate. New technologies also make it an important energetic resource (tidal power, etc.).

Oceanic resources are essential for providing food, transportation, energy, and minerals to support human civilization. They help regulate the Earth's climate, provide oxygen, and support biodiversity. Protecting and managing these resources sustainably is crucial for maintaining the health of marine ecosystems and ensuring their availability for future generations.

Well, the ocean provides us Natural Resources because the ocean, has animals and plants. Those are all apart of Natural Resources, so the ocean provides us with them. That is how the ocean provides us Natural Reources. Hope this helped everyone! (:

Well the Ocean provides us Natural Resources, some such resources are:-

Geothermal: run heat engines off earth's internals heat-could be as much as 1.5 QBtu/yr worldwide in 50 years-limited to a few rare sites.

Tidal: oscillating hydroelectric "dams"- a few rare sites are conducive to this (Bay of Fundy, for example)-up to 1 QBtu/yr practical worldwide.

Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion (OTEC)-use thermal gradient to drive heat engine-complex, at sea, small power outputs.
