A volcano typically consists of a vent or opening through which molten rock, ash, and gases are expelled. The main parts of a volcano include the magma chamber where the molten rock is stored, the conduit which is the passage that connects the magma chamber to the surface, and the crater at the summit where the volcanic material is ejected. Additionally, some volcanoes have secondary vents and lava flows that can form around the volcano.
All volcanoes have a main shaft (this is where the majority of debris and magma is thrown out of).
Of course there is the cone structure surrounding the main shaft.
Most volcanoes have a extensive network of caves and secondary shafts that riddle out through the cone. These often cause more damage because a secondary shaft may be under or near buildings, while no one is going to build on top of the volcanic cone.
Thats mainly it, but you can go to www.wikipedia.org for a diagram and more information.
shown on this Pict. the structure of a volcano is the cone, pipe, vent, and the magma chamber. oh and how ever asked this Question, your welcome! :-) ha ha.

i thought that it was the inner core, outer core, mantle and the crust. Am i wrong :S
(*) The inner core and the outer core etc etc make up the earth. I'm not sure if it makes up volcanoes as well :P :S Love Heidi :P :L (*)
A volcano constitutes a vent, a pipe, a crater, and a cone.
The vent is an opening at the Earth's surface.
The pipe is a passageway in the volcano in which the magma rises through to the surface during an eruption.
The crater is a bowl-shaped depression at the top of the volcano where volcanic materials like, ash, lava, and other pyroclastic materials are released.
Solidified lava, ashes, and cinder form the cone. Layers of lava, alternate with layers of ash to build the steep sided cone higher and higher.
