The daily path of the sun across the sky changes with the seasons due to the tilt of the Earth's axis. In summer, the sun's path is higher in the sky and the days are longer, while in winter, the sun's path is lower and the days are shorter. This phenomenon causes variations in the angle and intensity of sunlight received at different latitudes throughout the year.
I believe what youre referring to if the axis is horizontal is a flipdown clock.
yes. if light didn't travel through air, then you wouldn't be able to see anything!
No, during a solar eclipse, only a specific region on Earth can see the total eclipse, called the path of totality. Other regions may experience a partial eclipse. The timing of when different parts of the Earth see the eclipse varies depending on their location.
Seismic waves travel through the Earth due to the release of energy from seismic events like earthquakes. The waves propagate through different layers of the Earth, bending and changing speed as they encounter different materials. Their speed and path provide information about the Earth's interior structure.
The path is called an orbit. For more info from the Answers.com website, see the Related Link.

There are cherry trees in Central Park, but they are in full bloom at the end of April. One of the best places to see them is on the East Side of the Reservoir. A jogging path loops around the Reservoir, and a larger path, called the Bridle Path, loops around the jogging path. The area in-between the jogging path and the bridle path -- on the East Side -- is where the cherry trees are. See the Related Link below for more cherry tree locations in Central Park.

We call that path the "orbit" of the orbiting body. Note: You would not ever see a planet orbiting another planet. At least, if you did, you would not call them both planets.
Variables that can change are called independent variables. These are the factors or conditions that researchers manipulate or observe to see how they affect other variables in an experiment or study.
Moose do not travel in heards, they tend to travel alone. Sometimes you may see a couple moose together eating or something, but that's not very common.
