When neither copy of an allele is completely expressed or completely masked, it is called Incomplete Dominance. When incomplete dominance is present, then the offspring will have a blend of both parental phenotypes but will always be a slight bit slower to one parent than the other.

I'm pretty sure it's called partial dominance, and a mixture of both traits , or a combination, depending, is expressed. For example, if you took an albino with white hair( recessive) and a red head( recessive)meaning neither is dominant, and got their kid, he/she would have separate strands of red and white hair. For a mixture, When you take some one with straight hair( recessive and always homozygous) and someone with curly hair(dominant and always homozygous) you're going to get someone with wavy hair.

Incomplete dominance is a form of intermediate inheritance in which one allele for a specific trait is not completely expressed over its paired allele. This results in a third phenotype in which the expressed physical trait is a combination of the dominant and recessive phenotypes.
An example of incomplete dominance is seen in hair type inheritance. Curly hair type (CC) is dominant to straight hair type (cc). An individual who is heterozygous for this trait will have wavy hair (Cc).

This is a description of codominance.

In the human blood groups, alleles A, B, and O, when you put the two dominant alleles together you get the AB blood group.

What is expressed is the coding Dna strand that results from the blending of these chromosomal alleles - which is known as recombination of chromosomal Dna.

What is expressed when neither copy of an allele completely masks expression of the other but instead a blending alleles is seen?

When neither copy of an allele is completely expressed or completely masked, it is called Incomplete Dominance. When incomplete dominance is present, then the offspring will have a blend of both parental phenotypes but will always be a slight bit slower to one parent than the other.

incomplete dominance

What is expressed when nuither copy of an allele completely masks expression of the other but instead a blending of alleles is seen?

Incomplete dominance occurs when neither copy of an allele completely masks the expression of the other, resulting in a blending of the phenotypes associated with each allele. This leads to an intermediate phenotype that is a mix of the two allele's traits.

What is when neither copy of an allele completely masks expression of the other but instead a blending of alleles is seen?

This phenomenon is known as incomplete dominance, where neither allele is dominant over the other and a blending of traits is observed in the heterozygous genotype. This results in an intermediate phenotype that is a mix of the two homozygous phenotypes.

The gene that is fully expressed when two different alleles are present is the?

heterozygous gene. In this situation, both alleles are different and both are expressed, resulting in a blending or mixing of their traits.

What is an interaction between alleles in which both alleles are expressed more or less equally or a blending occurs called?

This type of interaction is called incomplete dominance, where the heterozygous individual displays a phenotype that is intermediate between the two homozygous genotypes.
