Water is evaporated(turned into gas) by the sun and becomes the clouds. When the clouds become full, they drop the water back down to the earth as rain. The cycles starts all over again.

β 12y agoThe water cycle is a continuous process where water evaporates from oceans, lakes, and rivers due to heat from the sun, forms clouds in the atmosphere, and then falls back to the Earth as precipitation in the form of rain or snow. This precipitation replenishes bodies of water and also infiltrates into the ground, contributing to groundwater resources. The water cycle is crucial for maintaining the Earth's ecosystem and ensuring the availability of fresh water for plants, animals, and humans.

The water cycle involves the continuous movement of water on, above, and below the surface of the Earth. It includes processes like evaporation, condensation, precipitation, and runoff. This cycle is essential for distributing water around the planet, sustaining ecosystems, and influencing weather patterns.
These are parts of the water cycle on the Earth.
Another name for the water cycle is the hydrologic cycle.
The water cycle is also called the hydrological cycle.
Water Cycle does not have an Antonym as such... Antonym usually refers to an opposite meaning... Of which water cycle really has none... However if you are asking for an antonym for cycle there are a few. Such as stillness, immobile, innert, unmoving, frozen and stiff.

Yes, water cycle ensure that we can have fresh water. It helps in recycling the water.
The rock cycle and water cycle both are natural.
The water cycle gets more water by rain because when it rains the rain goes in the water cycle .
Another term for the hydrologic cycle is the water cycle.
oceans provide fresh water for earth through the water cycle
the water cycle is the cycle of water and what it goes through
