Panda Bears eat bambo so they are herbivores
The giant panda is a herbivore, with bamboo making up the majority of its diet. However, pandas may occasionally eat small rodents or birds, making them technically omnivorous, but their diet mostly consists of plant matter.
The Asian elephant is a herbivore, meaning it primarily consumes plants such as grasses, fruits, and leaves. Their diet consists mainly of vegetation, and they do not eat meat or other animal products.
The panda is an omnivore in the bear family, primarily feeding on bamboo but also consuming small mammals, birds, and insects.
The carnivore that only eats bamboo in China is the giant panda (Ailuropoda melanoleuca). Despite being classified as carnivores, pandas have evolved to primarily consume bamboo as their main food source. They have specialized teeth and digestive systems adapted for bamboo consumption. However, they supplement their diet with occasional small mammals or eggs.
